Being from California, I’ve had the opportunity to visit the many wine growing regions and wineries in the state. America really does have some surprising wine regions, outside of California. I tried some incredible wines from Williamette Valley, Oregon tonight at dinner – totally blown away!

It’s so pretty up there and the wine is delicious. I’ve done a lot of the Charlottesville vineyards, but Williamsburg is still on my list. I never seem to have enough time for a stop when I’m traveling that direction. Also, three cheers for the Williamette Valley – the wine up there is delicious.
