It’s that time of year where I’m trying to wrap up my holiday shopping, I’ve got a lot of globetrotting pals and it can be tricky finding just the right gift. I mean, what do you get the person who has been to Argentina, South Africa and Portugal within the past three months? I take gift-giving seriously, no coffee-chain gift cards or lottery scratchers here. I like to give gifts that are thoughtful, useful and fun. Enter UncommonGoods.
This post is sponsored by UnCommonGoods however all opinions remain my own.
For a few years UncommonGoods has been my go-to website for unique gifts that I can’t find anywhere else. In addition to featuring some of the most fun and unique gifts on the web the folks at Uncommongoods are committed to sustainability, many items are made of recycled material and no products on their site use leather, feathers or fur. They also focus on offering goods from individual artists and small businesses and are committed to giving back, at checkout shoppers can choose from four charities for UncommonGoods to donate to. In a word, this is a site you can feel good about shopping with.
Whether you’re looking for a gift for your best friend or searching for fun gifts for kids UncommonGoods has you covered; and since they work primarily with smaller businesses they have a huge selection of gifts that can be personalized. My favorite way to search for gifts on UnCommonGoods is Sunny, an adorable gift finder who will procure the perfect present for you. Just type in who you are searching for and what they are interested in and Sunny will find you the best gifts. Using Sunny I searched for gifts for an adult who is interest in traveling and she came back with these awesome gifts below.

Wow, great to see a familiar name mentioned. I bought a fair share of gifts from UncommonGoods in the past. Somehow, with the rise of Etsy and others, I forgot about it. You know how it goes – Google “helpfully suggest” some store and, voila, I am in. Thanks for reminding about my old hunting grounds ;). With all Christmas shopping done, I can check it for some birthday gifts for my January-born relatives. Cheers!

I am a big fan of travel hammocks. For their size and weight, I don’t think there is anything better. We just go back from Sri Lanka and there were three times I wished we packed our hammock. First, we could have chilled out in the jungle and slung the hammock in the yoga hut. Second, we could have put it between two palm trees on the beach and watched the sunset. Third, we could have busted it out in the airport when we were napping on a long layover. There are just so many uses for a hammock.

I love the State Cheese board. This is such a great unconventional gift to a travel. Actually, I am loving all the gifts and I want it for me. Is that wrong? lol

That website sounds AWESOME!! We have a few stores like this where I live and they’re so fun to browse through. I especially like the looks of those city-themed glasses.

I could browse through the Uncommon Goods website for hours- all of their gifts are so unique, fun and sure to please even the trickiest recipient. Everyone in my family is a big traveler but all in very different ways. So great to be able to find a one-stop shop for all of them. Just might have to scoop up that toiletry kit for myself before I buy for anyone else, though!

I do love checking out Uncommon Goods whenever I need a little gift inspiration. In fact we almost bought my dad these city map glasses for Christmas this year. (And he did receive a pistachio bowl from Uncommon Goods!) I love how everything on the site is a balance of function and style – its pretty hard to go wrong with gifts from there.
